ESignWitnessNameHere - XpressDox

Click here to learn about the DocuSign integration process, alternatively keep reading for more information about the ESignWitnessNameHere() command.

The ESignWitnessNameHere command prints the witness’s name beneath the witness signature in the assembled document. It is used alongside the ESignAddWitness and ESignWitnessHere commands and supports both witness definition flows described in the ESignWitnessHere article, i.e. predefined witness details and signatory-defined witness details. In the case where the witness is defined by the signatory within DocuSign, the name is dynamically retrieved and printed beneath the signature on the final document. The font of the printed name is determined by your DocuSign account settings.

The command takes the same name and email parameters as ESignWitnessHere and these must match exactly:

«ESignWitnessNameHere('Witness1', 'Witness1@example.com')»

For signatory-defined witnesses, use the same xd_witness placeholder email used in the corresponding ESignAddWitness and ESignWitnessHere commands:

«ESignWitnessNameHere('Tenant Witness1', 'xd_witness_1@example.com')»

Note: As with ESignWitnessHere, the command should be placed in white text in the document to ensure the tag is hidden in the assembled document.
