This is step 3 in the process of configuring assembled documents to save to SharePoint. Click here for an overview of saving into SharePoint / OneDrive.
Configuring Standard Folders in XpressDox to save into SharePoint / OneDrive
Return to your XpressDox > Settings > Configure.
Take note of the file path at the top, and ensure you are at the top folder level. All settings will apply to this folder and all sub folders, which means that all documents assembled from any folder will be saved into SharePoint.
The Document Save Folder is where you will define the SharePoint / OneDrive folder into which assembled documents should be saved. e.g.
V:\Assembled XD Documents\NDAs
where V:\ is the drive that was configured in the Foreign File System in Step 2.
Define a file name; either in the configuration or in the template, using the «SetSavedDocumentFileName()» command. The example in the screenshot contains a name defined in the configuration.
Data can be saved in the same way, but in the example below is not being saved into SharePoint / OneDrive but rather into a Datasets folder in the environment from which the template is being run i.e. Desktop or Cloud.
Remember to upload your config file if you are using the Cloud environment. Running a template now would cause the assembled document to be saved into SharePoint / OneDrive.
Note: All the steps are the same whether you are configuring to save to SharePoint or to OneDrive. The only difference lies in the previous step in the process.
