From time to time, you will find your server license needs replacing. The license is set to expire after a given amount of time and a new one will be supplied to you by a representative at XpressDox. Please follow these steps to apply the new license:
Go to the Settings menu in your Cloud or WinAuth account, and click on the License tab:
Current License information is displayed. To replace the old license, paste in your new license key.
Failing that method, the process of replacing a license key can be done manually:
- Create a new text file at [Installation_Directory]\License\XpressDoxServerLicense.lic if one does not already exist.
- Open this file.
- Paste the new license key into this file.
- Remove any other files that may be in the [Installation_Directory]\License folder. Only XpressDoxServerLicense.lic should exist in this folder.
- Restart the application pool in IIS.
